TECHNICAL SOURCING COORDINATION

How We Support Your China Sourcing Project

X-Diecasting Tech provides a local technical communication and project follow-up window in China, drawing on more than 20 years of die casting production-engineering experience. You select and trade directly with the manufacturing partner. The support steps below are adapted to your project; specialist inspections and on-site activities are agreed separately.

STEP 01REQUIREMENTS REVIEW

Requirements & Drawing Review

We review the information you can share: 2D/3D drawings, alloy, expected volumes, tolerance and appearance requirements, post-processing needs, quality priorities and target delivery conditions. Confidentiality arrangements can be agreed before sharing sensitive files.

Possible outputs: Project scope and an initial list of technical questions, where applicable.
STEP 02FEASIBILITY & PROCESS OPTIONS

Manufacturing Feasibility Review

Drawing and process review highlights casting, tooling and machining risks such as wall thickness, draft, parting lines, porosity-sensitive zones and datum requirements. Detailed DFM, CAE simulations and design changes are undertaken by the manufacturing partner or specialist when included in the project scope.

Possible outputs: Questions for the manufacturer, potential process options and agreed next-step technical reviews.
STEP 03COMPARISON & SELECTION

Supplier Comparison & Selection

We compare candidate factories against the agreed technical, quality, capacity, timing and commercial requirements. Candidates explain their process and quotation assumptions. You choose the manufacturing partner and trade directly with the selected factory; X-Diecasting Tech acts as your local technical and progress contact.

Possible outputs: Comparable factory information, technical questions and factory-issued quotations, as available.
STEP 04TOOLING & SCHEDULE

Tooling Kickoff & Progress Follow-Up

The selected toolmaker is responsible for detailed die design and manufacture. We help review technical communications, confirm agreed milestones, flag open issues and follow tooling progress according to the scope of your project.

Possible outputs: Agreed tooling milestones and an issue / progress log where required.
STEP 05TRIALS & CORRECTIVE ACTIONS

Trial & Issue Follow-Up

We track trial plans, sample findings and corrective-action progress with the factory. On-site attendance, T0/T1/T2 trial support, CMM reports, X-ray/CT, leak tests or CAE studies can be arranged when needed, feasible and specifically agreed. The factory performs manufacturing and testing.

Possible outputs: Trial observations, available sample reports and an agreed corrective-action list, as applicable.
STEP 06SECONDARY PROCESSES

Machining & Secondary-Process Coordination

Where parts require CNC machining, heat treatment, surface finishing, cleaning, impregnation or leak testing, we help align specifications and interfaces between the selected manufacturing partners. Inspection methods, sampling and acceptance criteria are agreed for the project.

Possible outputs: Process handover points, technical clarifications and supplier-provided inspection evidence when specified.
STEP 07PRODUCTION READINESS

Mass-Production Readiness

Before ramp-up, the buyer and manufacturer confirm sample approval, critical characteristics, process controls, inspection requirements and any required documentation. PPAP or equivalent customer-specific submissions can be coordinated when requested; preparation, approval and sign-off responsibilities follow the customer and factory agreement.

Possible outputs: Readiness checklist and project-specific supplier documents, if agreed.
STEP 08PRODUCTION & DELIVERY

Production, Quality & Delivery Follow-Up

We support communication on production progress, quality issues, corrective actions and shipment readiness within the agreed service scope. Factory inspection, additional third-party inspection, packaging verification, lot-level reports or ongoing capability tracking are specified separately where required.

Possible outputs: Agreed status updates, escalated issue logs and relevant factory-issued shipment or inspection records.

Scope, fees, deliverables, confidentiality arrangements and any factory visits or specialist tests are agreed for each project. No universal audit, inspection or PPAP sign-off is implied.
