For over 20 years, I worked on the shop floor of a Tier 1 automotive parts manufacturer in aluminum die casting.
One thing became clear through that experience.
The real challenge in sourcing from China was never pricing power, or whether a spec sheet checked out.
The real problem was the absence of someone on the ground who truly understood the engineering intent and the quality standards being demanded.

After graduating, I spent more than 20 years on the front lines of a Tier 1 automotive parts manufacturer, working in precision tooling and die casting production.
My expertise isn't just "product design." It's everything from tooling development and trial runs to mass-production launch, QC process control, and root-cause investigation (8D reports) — specializing in how to make high-quality parts reproducible at volume, and in driving continuous shop-floor improvement.
