01. Process & Technical Fit
Suitability of HPDC, gravity, low-pressure or semi-solid processing for the selected alloy, geometry, complexity, tooling requirements and intended volume.
A suitable manufacturing partner must match your part geometry, material, tooling needs, quality requirements and production volume—not just your target price. X-Diecasting Tech supports technical supplier comparisons and communication in China. You select your supplier and contract directly with the factory.
Evaluation criteria and evidence are tailored to each project. The seven areas below are a practical review framework, not a fixed scoring formula or a certification of every factory in our network.
Suitability of HPDC, gravity, low-pressure or semi-solid processing for the selected alloy, geometry, complexity, tooling requirements and intended volume.
We check the candidate factory's quality procedures, relevant ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 certification when required, and the availability and calibration of equipment such as CMM, X-ray/CT and OES. Certification and equipment are verified factory by factory.
Actual machine sizes, available capacity, casting process controls, maintenance status, and capability to meet part size and production-volume requirements.
Toolmaking capability, machining resources, fixture approach, heat treatment and surface finishing requirements, including the responsibility split between specialist subcontractors.
We help compare quotations on a like-for-like basis, covering tooling, casting, machining, finishing, inspection, packaging, MOQ and lead times. Commercial terms are agreed directly between the buyer and factory.
Production scheduling, status reporting, engineering communication and export experience where relevant. Specific lead times and response arrangements are confirmed for each project.
How the factory investigates defects, documents corrective actions, handles tooling or process changes, and communicates production or delivery risks.
Depending on drawings and agreed inspection requirements, we check which records and testing capabilities the selected manufacturer can provide. Not every test or report applies to every part.
CMM inspection records, critical-dimension reports and first-article measurements where specified.
Internal-defect assessment for specified areas or risk conditions, subject to the factory's inspection capability and the agreed method.
Material certificates, optical-emission spectrometry results and heat-treatment records when applicable to the alloy and part.
Differential-pressure, air or helium leak testing as required by the part's specified pressure, leakage criteria and agreed sampling plan.
Trial issue logs, agreed key process parameters and corrective-action records from the manufacturing factory.
Visual and dimensional inspection records, packaging requirements and traceability records according to the agreed project scope.
X-Diecasting Tech supports technical review and coordination. Manufacturing, testing, certification and report issuance remain the responsibility of the selected factory or specialist provider unless a different scope is expressly agreed.
Share a drawing or describe the issue, including material, target volume and quality requirements. We can discuss the appropriate supplier-evaluation scope and next steps.
